I'm Melissa, licensed cosmetologist, cosmetology instructor, salon owner, business coach and A Doterra wellness advocate. I'm passionate about making people feel and look beautiful and empowering entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs.
It all started when I was a young girl in Nigeria. I would watch a stylist at a shop across the street from my house braid hair and go home and practice on my grandmother's hair. As I grew older I always had to have dolls with long hair because I had to braid or style their hair in some way. I obtained a bachelors degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Management and Marketing from Oklahoma State University, Tx. After graduation I worked and taught in my field of study. I then obtained my cosmetology training from the Paul Mitchell School. I have successfully managed my hair care business since 2010.
My goal as a hair stylist and business owner is to ensure that every client that sits in my chair enjoys their service experience from beginning to end. I pride myself in creating exactly what my guests request. I am an advocate for healthy hair and will not do anything that I feel will jeopardize the integrity of my guests hair.
